Following the death of Governor Patrick Yakowa of Kaduna state in a helicopter crash in Bayelsa yesterday, his Deputy Alhaji Muktar Ramalan has been sworn in as the Governor of the state.
Ironically, at an occasion organised by the Kaduna council of the Nigerian Union of Journalist(NUJ) last wednesday where he represented the Governor, two speakers on the occasion said publicly that they were eagerly looking forward to the day he would become the number one citizen of the state. Little did they know it would come sooner than they had imagined!
