VIDEO: “HE WANTED TO BE LIKE P SQUARE”; JUDE OKOYE OPENS UP ON MAY D BREAK UP
In a recent radio interview in Uganda, Jude “Engees” Okoye, brother and manager of the P-square opened up on why May D left Square records.
The Square records boss explained that they sign artistes as a way of giving back to the society, and by the time the artistes become known, they let them stand on their own. He gave examples of artistes such as J Martins and Bracket. He however said the problem with May D came up when they wanted to sign him; “He wanted to have what P square had..it took Psquare like 7-8 years to get the cars and houses and everything, and within a year someone is looking for something like that” said the Square records boss.
