PDP SUSPENDS AMAECHI OVER NGF ELECTIONS
The political battles of Gov Rotimi Amaechi is far from over as the Peoples Democratic Party(PDP) has suspended him from the party in a latest development following his purported re-election as the Chairman of the Nigeria Governor’s Forum (NGF) elections last Friday against the wish of President Jonathan.

), (h) and (m) of the PDP Constitution following his refusal to obey the
lawful directive of the Rivers State Executive Committee to rescind his
decision dissolving the elected Executive Council of Obiokpor Local
Government Area of Rivers State.

of the powers conferred by Articles 57 (3), 59 (3), 59 (5) and 29 (2.b),

This is believed to be the architectural masterplan of Uncle Jona who fears the continued reign of Gov Amaechi as the NGF Chair will scuttle his 2015 ambitions. The pro-Jonathan Governors had unanimously endorsed Gov Jang as the new NGF Chair and went as far as introducing him to the VP, Namadi Sambo, calling Amaechi’s re-election a charade.
